Each one is is 100% biodegradable and made from recycled materials. Use them at memorials, celebrations of life, or any special occasion. Recipients can take them home to plant and grow.

Give the name/date in the personalization box. You may specify a color for the hearts. If you would like to change anything else on the card, such as the wording on the front, you will need a custom order (+$25 and up depending on the number of changes). Orders of single generic sample cards will not be personalized. Type in NA (not applicable) for those.

Seed list and planting instructions are printed on the back of each card (see seeds information below for details). Printed on 100% post-consumer recycled Kraft paper.

Cards are about 2.5 x 3.75 inches. Hearts are 2 inches.

{ SEEDS }
We make the seed paper ourselves and have complete control over the seeds that go in them, the color, and can ensure the seed paper hearts are fresh.

We have chosen the kinds of flower seeds on purpose for their desirability and ease of growth. They produce big, beautiful long-stemmed blooms for well-known and well-loved garden flowers that can be cut and arranged in bouquets: Pink and red poppies, black-eyed susans, marigolds, snapdragons, blue bachelor buttons, shasta daisies, pink cosmos, marigolds, zinnia, columbine, and godetia.

This premium flower seed mix is unique to us. As an added bonus, the flower types attract and create habitat for pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. They are not random flowers. They are all native or well-established in North America and suitable for planting in climate zones 4-12. We do not recommend wildflower seeds because they are specific to specific habitats and should not be grown elsewhere. Our seed varieties are non-GMO and have not been treated with neonicotinoids that are harmful to bees.

Additionally, we test its growth four times a year to ensure germination. Some of the flowers are annuals for first year blooms and others are perennial for blooms year after year. To grow the paper, plant as you would ordinary seeds. Keep warm and damp and in direct sunlight.

This seed paper keeps for 18+ months and longer when kept dry and out of direct sunlight. The growing seedlings will need proper care, just like other seeds.
